This course is designed for pilots returning to Australia who seek to convert their foreign license to an Australian ATPL.

We currently offer this course for applicants type rated and current on the A320, B737, Dash 8, SA226/227 and KingAir B200(For pilots not holding a type rating)


Aerosphere’s conversion training course gives you the tools and skills to confidently sit your ATPL flight test.

Course details

  • Instructor led briefings will ensure you are prepared to meet the requirements of the CASA Part 61 MOS.

  • Course cost includes the following;

    • Half day theory briefing

    • 3 hour briefing + 4 hour preparation sim

    • ATPL Flight Test + Examiner Fee

  • 3 Days

  • To sit the ATPL Flight Test, you must:

    • Be 21 years old

    • Have a CPL or MPL with the same aircraft category rating

    • Hold an FAA ATP or equivalent foreign license

    • Have completed the CASA Conversion Exams (AOSA and HUF or hold an ATPL theory credit)

    • Hold a current English Language Proficiency Assessment

    • Meet minimum hour requirements dictated by CASA
